Founder/Executive Director (Non-Board)
Jason Futch, a North Florida native, has devoted nearly ten years of his life to advocating for unsolved homicide victims and their families. Growing up in Live Oak, Florida, Jason attended local schools and developed a deep connection to the community. His passion for justice and empathy for the families affected by unsolved cases led him to pursue a podcast series with a focus on bringing attention to these often-overlooked cases.
Throughout his time as a podcaster, Jason interacted with numerous families who had been impacted by unsolved homicides or missing persons cases. Witnessing their pain and frustration firsthand inspired him to take action. Drawing from his experiences as a journalist and his heartfelt desire to support these families, Jason founded Suwannee Valley Unsolved, Inc. This organization is a testament to his dedication and seeks to provide a platform for raising awareness, sharing information, and offering support to those who have been left behind in the wake of these tragedies.
Jason's role as the Founder and Executive Director of Suwannee Valley Unsolved, Inc. is a reflection of his tireless commitment to seeking justice and providing comfort to those who have been deeply affected by these unresolved cases. His work extends beyond professional obligations, as he actively engages with the community and the families involved, seeking to instill hope and drive positive change.
Currently residing in Lake City with his fiancee, Heidi, and their two children, Jason's personal and professional life are deeply intertwined with his mission to make a meaningful impact. His dedication to this cause serves as an inspiration to others, showcasing the profound difference that one individual's unwavering commitment can make in the lives of those affected by tragedy.
